Enjoy fascinating Malenge island
DIVING & SNORKELING
Enjoy fascinating underwater in Malenge Island, along with the beautiful corals in front of our place you will have a chance to see stingrays, baby sharks, turtles, trevally, grouper and red snappers !
You can also take a trip to coral reef number 5 which is just 10 minutes by boat from our place, if you will be little bit lucky on the way there you can also spot dolphins or pilot whale !
Otherwise you have also option to go snorkeling to the reef number 1.
WILDLIFE & HIKING
On Malenge island you can spot many types of animals, for example monkeys, deer-pigs (babirusa), pitons, bats, coconut crabs, lizards, Sulawesi bear cuscus, tarsius and around 90 species of birds.
Directly in our place there is high probability that you will be able to see coconut crab, bats, deer-pig (babirusa), Sulawesi bear cuscus, lizards, sea eagles and other birds species.
For the hiking lovers there is also option for a hike from our place directly to the Malenge village trough the real jungle it takes around 2 hours.
JELLYFISH LAKE
In Togeans you can swim unharmed with this fascinating creatures. There are only 3 places like this in Indonesia. You can do a daytrip to the jellyfish lake includes visiting Karina Beach and snorkeling at California Reef.
BAJAU VILLAGE
Bajau people aka “Sea Nomads” are living on the sea for centuries in wooden housed villages on the water. They have their own language, mostly make their living from fishing. Some of them are able to hold their breath up to 13 minutes under water which is insane.
If you want to see how Bajau People live now you can take a trip from our place it is just 10 minutes by boat to village named Kadoda and than we take a little walk trough 1km long wooden bridge to the bajau village named Pulau Papan.
